Alex is Professor of Architecture at the University of Bath and has been Head of Architecture at the University of Bath since 2008.  He previously served two terms as Chair of SCOSA (2012-16) and two terms as an elected member of the ARB Board (2012-18).  Alex was Chair of the UK Architectural Education Review Group and was the Chair the QAA’s Advisory Group for the Architecture Subject Benchmark Statement (2019-20).
